Josephine Thyberg,
Executive Director

Josephine Thyberg was born and raised in Blackfoot. She and her husband of 36 years have raised 2 children and has 7 grandkids. Community involvement has always been a big part of her life. She volunteers with several different organizations.

Josephine has been working for the Bingham Crisis Center for 33 years. She first started as a Volunteer and is now the Executive Director.  Josephine is very passionate with the work she does with domestic violence and sexual assault.

Shayna Norton
LMFT, ADC

Undergraduate Education:

Bachelors of Science Degree in Psychology from Idaho State University

Graduate Education:

Master’s Degree in Marriage and Faily Therapy and Generalize Family Therapy from Northcentral University

Professional Licenses:

Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist

DBT, EMDR, and TREM

Counseling Services:

Substance Use Disorder Treatment, Mental Health Treatment, Trauma related Treatment, Group, and Individual Therapy

About Shayna:

Shayna received her Master of Marriage and Family Therapy degree in 2015 from Northcentral University, starting her career in addiction treatment. Shayna is passionate about working in this field and believes in taking a person-centered approach to the treatment of substance use disorders and mental health illness. She strives to help improve her clients’ lives through DBT, relapse prevention, and exposure therapy which allows her to individualize treatment based on the client’s needs. She has worked with the Bingham Criss Center since 2019 and is dedicated in helping clients learn skills necessary to break the cycle of abuse.

 

Leslie Martinez

Leslie Martinez graduated from the College of Southern Idaho in 2022 with an Associate’s degree in Liberal Arts. In her free time, she enjoys spending quality time with her family and exploring new places through travel. Leslie was born and raised in Blackfoot and is proud to be able to continue being a part of such a great community. Leslie is a bilingual advocate that enjoys supporting individuals and families. Her dedication to serve the community continues to guide her through her personal and professional journey. 

Rochelle Hardiman

Rochelle Hardiman is the newest addition to the Bingham Crisis Centers team! For
several years, she has been a dedicated volunteer at the Bingham Crisis Center, driven
by a passion for helping our community. She is currently furthering her education by
taking courses with SNHU for her Bachelor of Science Degree. In her spare time, she
enjoys reading, time with family, and horseback riding. Rochelle is excited to be a
part of this team to help our community members further!
